MISCELLANEOUS DUTIES:

  1. Receive All Bids
  2. Prepare/Distribute Agendas for Council and Commissioner Meetings
  3. Keep all Official Records (i.e., Contracts, letters of credit, bonds, minutes, bids, vehicle titles and all correspondence, both Council and Commissioners)
  4. Record All Pertinent County Documents
  5. Provide Certificates of No Remonstrance for all county taxing units
  6. House Public Access Terminals for Public Use

  1. Prepare notices of all meetings: Council, Commissioners
  2. Prepare & Distribute Bid Information & Legal Advertisements
  3. Prepare Proposed County Budget Advertisement
  4. Prepare County Property Tax Sale Advertisements
  5. Advertise Vendor Claims
  6. Advertise Tax Sale
  7. Ordinances


FINANCIAL

  1. County Budget Preparation for Council

  1. Innkeepers Tax

  6. Excise Tax, Lottery Distribution, Auto Rental & Aircraft Tax
  7. Property Tax: Notification of Tax Board Hearings & Proposed Rates
  8. Prepare Tax Rate Chart for Publication (Proposed and Certified)
  9. Manage Budget Transfers and Additional Appropriations
  10. Responsible for Tax Sale-Publication & Records of Sale, Deeds
  11. Track Tax Abatement Property Status
  12. Transmit Budget Orders and Tax Rates for all units of Government in County

PROPERTY RECORDS

  1. Receive Deeds, Affidavits, Etc for Property Ownership
  2. Receive Sales Disclosures
  3. Official Receipt of Plats
  4. Accept & Process Annexation Records, Exemptions - Homestead, Mortgage, Veteran, Age, Disability, Geo Thermal
  5. Maintains Subdivisions, Street Names, Splits, or Combinations
  6. Certify Signatures for Remonstrance Petitions
  7. Maintain Plat Book through GIS System
