Community Emergency Response Team
CERT is a two day training that prepares individuals to help themselves as well as their neighbors to be self sufficient for 72 hours before first responders can arrive.
Students will be trained in disaster preparedness, medical operations, first aid, basic fire suppression, search and rescue techniques, disaster psychology, and terrorist incidents. Training is not limited to the classroom, but involves hands on instruction and class participation.
The intent of this training to to prepare individuals to do the greatest good for the greatest number of people.
